Shiso Elderberry Syrup

Ever since we started growing shiso in our garden, I’ve been making this syrup for the family. The addition of elderberries not only means a more vibrant color, it also makes this drink something to help get through the cold months when you’re feeling a little under the weather. House made rice wine vinegar makes it extra delicious.

Ingredients: shiso, elderberries, rice wine vinegar, sugar
