Foo Ferments is part science lab, part community space and always a work in progress. 

We are a queer and female-owned fermentation company using new and traditional techniques to produce tasty, nutritious and sustainable East Asian ferments. We believe that food should be kind, inclusive and accessible.

Our founder, Lan-xin, has years of experience in food science and the brewing of beer. Their approach to food fermentation is experimental, methodical, curious and intentional. Food waste, sustainability and cultural heritage are the main focuses of all products created.
