🧧 Year of the dragon lunar new year feast🧧
Growing up, Lunar New Year was always about gathering with family and loved ones. Celebrating the new moon and welcoming the spring.
My grandmother would always make dumplings which we would eat at midnight. Some were offered to our ancestors, to guide and protect us always. Others she would secretly fill with red dates (a sweet year) or gold coins (a bountiful year).
We have a guest! Coming in from Paris and bringing his take on delicious dumplings, the very talented @hnzooo. And no party is complete without front of house extraordinaire and all around great vibes @gwenitaho.
This is a continuation of re-discovering my Chinese heritage and wanting to share and celebrate with community.
Gather in larger groups with your friends and family for that traditional fuzzy warm feeling 🧧
